Last week, Nike revealed the new premium Air Jordan 12 ‘Vachetta Tan’ which will be released in the spring. Larry Miller, Nike’s subset president, stated at an event in Los Angeles that he was excited about the collaborations Nike has, especially for women.
“I think the women’s product is taking us to a different place. This is the first time we are really showing some love to that female customer, letting them know we are doing product specifically for them,” Miller said.
Among the models for the Jordans, Grammy-nominated SZA was one of them. In the photos, she looked right at home in her sneakers. The R&B singer is known for always dressing the way she wants to. There is always an aspect of comfortability in SZA’s wardrobe, she has that tomboy vibe that we love.
As the brand shifts to focus more on women, there will be three new sneakers released under the collection titled “Season of Her”.
