This past weekend, Chicago rap favorite Fredo Santana was buried over the weekend and to say his services were unconventional would be an understatement.
Fredo died on January 19 from a seizure that is believed to have been caused by an overconsumption of promethazine or “lean”, which severely damages the liver. His homies took no heed to that as a lesson, as some were seen sipping lean at Santana’s burial site and one attendant went as far as pouring the lean on Fredo’s casket as it was lowered into the ground. Another funeral goer is shown tucking away a handgun in his tuxedo jacket in the video below.
Santana, whose real name is Derrick Coleman, was celebrated by his cousin Chief Keef, among others who attended the funeral of the budding star who met his untimely demise at only 27 years old.
