Social media is such a powerful tool and has now become the place to gain a platform with a huge fan base.
As of late, it seems like many of this generation’s comedians have used YouTube and Instagram to showcase their chops and to get noticed by celebrities and television networks.
One person who takes notice of the hard work of young black comedians is Nick Cannon. He uses his show Wild N Out as a platform and an opportunity to show what they’ve got. DC Young Fly, Jess Hilarious, and Emmanuel Hudson are all on Wild N Out making an even bigger name for themselves. For Season 11, two new castmates are getting added to the roster, Vena E. (@yesimprettyvee) and Renny! Both comedians announced the news on Instagram today.
Vena is best known for her pink robe in many of her videos and Renny was recently on the red carpet at the Soul Train Awards. Best of luck to the both of them on their new journey and we hope they keep the laughs coming on the new season!
