Ice Cube‘s Big 3 League continues to take shape entering season number two.

The Big 3 added another marquee name on Monday as former No. 1 overall pick Greg Oden has joined the league’s draft pool.

Oden will forever be known as being the No. 1 overall selection in the 2007 NBA Draft and then having injuries decimate his career.

Oden always had loads of talent, but injuries derailed his career after a promising start with the Trail Blazers. He competed in only 82 games in two years before missing three full seasons. He returned in 2013-14 and played 23 regular-season games for the Heat, plus three postseason contests for a squad that lost in the NBA Finals.

Besides for Oden, the Big 3 has added a slew of new players for their second season as Nate Robinson, Glen Davis, and Carlos Boozer have all agreed to play in the league this summer.

While it seemed his playing career was over, Oden appears ready to try again in a halfcourt competition that could better suit his physical ability. Cube’s league will give him a platform to see if he can still play at a semi-professional level.
