The hype of Marvels Black Panther movie has been one no one would suspect.  After a great successful opening weekend grossing $241 million dollars, the movies soundtrack Black Panther: The Album is now number one on the Billboard Top 200.  The TDE-curated album features strong appearances from hip-hop superstars like Kendrick Lamar, Future and Travis Scott.

During one of his performances during All Star Weekend, west coast rapper YG told the audience that he had something special to say and proceeded to tell his fans that his newest project Stay Dangerous is on the way and kicked it off with performing his newest single “Su Whoop.”

Utilizing social media, Vince Staples surprised his fans last night by adding six more tour dates in March to his current tour.  After making the already scheduled stop in Milwaukee, the rapper will then hit Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, St. Louis and Oklahoma City.

Just in time for spring, Vans is dropping its new and fun collection.  The popular California life-style sneaker brand has collaborated with Nickelodeon to create a SpongeBob Squarepants inspired line.  The collection features classic silhouettes like the Sk8-hi and the classic slip-on, popular characters SpongeBob, Patrick, and Plankton with patterns and prints across both sneakers and apparel.

In celebration of the Holi Festival a wonderfully colorful Hindu celebration for the coming of spring, Adidas and Pharrell Williams have paired up to bring fans the “Blank Canvas” collection featuring the adidas NMD Hu, prime knit Stan Smith, and Tennis Hu silhouettes.

Early this morning a 7th grader shot himself inside of a school bathroom in Massillon, Ohio.  Investigators and school officials are still unsure if the shooting was intentional while no other students or staff were hurt.  The child was rushed to the hospital while the rest of the school was sent home.

The United States Winter Olympic team is now in 6th place overall with a total of 12 medals, five gold, four silver, and three bronze.
