Audiences are still on a high from Black Panther and everything that the Marvel movie stood for. As we are amazed at the whole cast and a job well done, we cannot help to swoon over the ladies of the film. Strong, beautiful black women were depicted in ways we haven’t seen in a long time. Melanin-rich skin and natural hair were portrayed in the movie effortlessly. As Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, and Lupita Nyong’o wore locs, braids, and a small afro, Danai Gurira will be remembered for how she slayed a bald head, especially in the scene where she used her wig as a weapon!
