Blocboy JB linked up with Drake on the track “Look Alive” and the response from music consumers have been positive. So positive, that the track debuted in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 for this week. Blocboy JB became the first artist since Harry Styles accomplished the feat last year, to have his Hot 100 debut to be in the top ten.

Drake’s feature on the track follows a long list of artists who he has helped propel to the mainstream. JB joins The Weeknd, Migos, A$AP Rocky and others who have utilized a Drake feature or co-sign. “Look Alive” has pushed Blocboy JB to the forefront of rap while Drake’s feature continues his strong start of 2018. On this same chart for this week, Drake’s own “God’s Plan” is enjoying its fourth consecutive week as the No. 1 song in the country.
