The first official trailer for the highly anticipated Netflix original film, ROXANNE ROXANNE, is out now. Set to air on Netflix March 23, ROXANNE ROXANNE, written and directed by Michael Larnell, and from the producers of “Fruitvale Station” and “Dope,” tells the story of rap pioneer Lolita ‘Roxanne Shanté’ Gooden, best known for her 1984 hit record “Roxanne’s Revenge,” and the “Roxanne Wars” rivalry. At only 14-years-old, Queens’ Roxanne Shanté was on the road to stardom and becoming a hip-hop legend.
