Songkick, an app acquired from the Warner Bros. music group last year, inks a deal with Facebook to add concerts and events from their database onto the social media platform that is currently averaging two billion users.

Adding to the Facebook deal, Songkick also unveiled a new deal with French retailer FNAC, described by the company as “the largest ticket seller” in France and Belgium. This new deal will involve a content-sharing agreement and Songkick’s first steps into the concert and event planning market.

“We have tapped into Warner’s global infrastructure and existing fan base to accelerate growth and solidify Songkick as the best concert discovery tool on the market”, said Tony Harlow, president of Warner’s artist and label division WEA. “We know that Songkick users are highly engaged passionate music fans and we strive to provide them more content, access, and rewards for their enthusiasm.”

The collaborations with Facebook and FNAC follow current ones with Vevo and Pandora for Songkick. According to the company, its user fan base grew by 34 percent and its monthly active users grew by 43 percent in the past year. Within that same period, the app has released an interactive platform called Songkick Live.

“Since we’ve joined forces with Tony and his amazing team at WEA, we’ve been in growth mode, striking a series of deals with distributions and ticketing partners aimed at expanding our global presence,” Songkick chief technology officer Mark Mcintyre addressed in a statement. “Our team is growing, and our plans for the years ahead are more ubiquitous than ever. We’re off to a great start and looking forward to this exciting partnership.”
