After being dragged into discussions about Mo’Nique’s attempted Netflix boycott, Tiffany Haddish  has announced that she got her own deal with the streaming service.

Comedian Haddish cleared the air and responded to fans, explaining that she’d already signed the deal before Mo’Nique’s boycott began last month. Monique responded to Tiffany Haddish via twitter congratulating the upcoming comedian, saying that she’s proud of her and she did nothing wrong.

Mo’Nique mentioned Haddish in an interview with Sway in the Morning.I couldn’t accept that low offer, because if I did…I couldn’t sleep at night,” she said. “I say this humbly: I am the most decorated comedian alive. But if I accepted $500,000, what does Tiffany Haddish have coming? If I accept that, what does the black female comedian have coming? Because what they’ll say is, ‘Mo’Nique accepted this and she’s got that.’ So what do they have coming?

Mo’Nique is accusing Netflix for racial and gender bias, and many celebrities are backing her up including Chance The Rapper, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Wanda Sykes.

Haddish is going to be the lead voice actor in a new Netflix animated comedy from the creators Bojack Horseman. The series titled Tuca & Bertie doesn’t have a release date yet, but received the greenlight for a 10-episode premiere.
