Fresh off the release of his sophomore album Tory Lanez teams up with future to drop a new visual for their song ‘Real Thing’. The video has a gritty vibe to it with dark scenes of the Canadian singer in a hallway, cuts between dimly lit manaquins and models and finally to future and Tory as the exchange verses with money flying and a girl twerking.
Fourteen time grammy winner Herbie Hancock is teaming up with big name hip-hop superstars for his next album which will be a hip-hop hybrid. The Jazz legend wants this album to embody the concept of bringing people together and being a global citizen and not just an American, Japanese, or Italian citizen. Hancock says he enjoys working with the younger artists as he has much to learn from them especially with the rise of social media.
After previewing on social media, T-Pain has dropped a remix to Bartier Cardi and fans are going wild. Even the latin bomshell herself Cardi B approved the track saying “Sh*t fire” with a few flame emojis. The Track is 4 minutes long produced by 30 Rock and Cheeze Beats.
German sportswear brand Adidas has teamed up yet again with Gary Aspden for the fourth time to bring us the Adidas Spezial SS18 collection. Along with the release of new color ways in the Spezial sneaker, the accompanying apparel features jackets, crewnecks, and t-shirts with bold bright pastel colors, and embroidered detailing. The collection pays homage to British rave culture and mixes it with adidas sportswear inspired by “the white isle and the second summer of love.” Be sure to check out the two installations of this collection on March 9th and March 23rd.
Vans is always looking to spice up its classic Slip-on, Sk8-Hi and Authentic silhouettes that have already been re-vamped in numerous ways. This time the US sneaker company is looking to the east for inspiration with its new denim patchwork collection inspired by Japanese boro patchwork and sashiko stitching. The iconic silhouettes will feature various washes and colors of denim paired with white and or navy blue stitching. You can pick these up at select Vans retailers later this month.
Fast food chain McDonalds is getting a fresh new upgrade. On Tuesday it announced that the Quarter pounder would new feature fresh not frozen beef in all of its stores except Hawaii and Alaska starting in May. This change comes about as part of the chains attempt at serving its customers healthier ingredients. This will be the most significant change to their system since the inception of all day breakfast in 2015.
