XG consists of three friends, Mega X, Chapo Hussein, and IJK (I’m Just Kevin). After taking a four year hiatus following unfortunate run-ins with the law, the North Carolina rappers are back and ready to take the music game by storm.
The trio dropped their first songs since their 2013 mixtape, D.O.A. XG’s single below, “Got The Hood Hot,” definitely has the streets buzzing. “Shootouts got the hood hot / Drive-bys got the hood hot / My young n*gga got the hood hot x4,” Mega X spits on the chorus. The video currently has over 18, 768 views (and counting) on YouTube. Their second single, “Hidden Motives,” is definitely a bop too. You can listen to it above.
