This past March Louis Vuitton shook up the fashion industry by appointing Virgil Abloh as the artistic director for their men’s wear. This week proved to be a big one for Virgil with the first images of his new Louis Vuitton sneaker hitting the web and the debut of his first collection with LV at Paris Fashion Week.
Fashion Week attracts stars and fashion enthusiasts from all over the world, including collaborator and friend of Abloh, Kanye West, who was front and center with Kim Kardashian-West, Kylie Jenner, and Travis $cott.
At the end of the Louis Vuitton presentation, the two Chicagoans shared a moment, embracing in accomplishment and tears while “Ghost Town” from the ye album provided the score. The moment captured fans attention across the globe who celebrated the moment of the two designers at the top of their games.
