The Florida Panthers Stadium in Sunrise, Florida was the host to the funeral and public viewing of XXXTentaction on Wednesday (June 27). Thousands of people including, family, friends, and fans who were impacted by XXX were on hand at the event.

The public service was planned by his mother bringing those in morning of the rapper, born Jahseh Onfroy, into one place. The crowd was treated to a tribute video while his music played inside and out of the stadium during the evening. Fans were able to leave messages on posterboards and on hand with the collective of fans was Lil Yachty, Ugly God, Denzel Curry, Lil Uzi Vert and more.

News surrounding the death of XXXTentacion has dominated headlines in the past week. The late rapper was the first artist to posthumously reach number one the Billboard Hot 100 since The Notorious B.I.G. with his hit single “SAD!” XXXTentacion’s ? album also soared up the Billboard 200 to number three and his 17 album not too far behind at number seven The life of XXXTentacion was also celebrated at the recent BET Awards in Meek Mill’s attire and during Jamie Foxx’s message on stage as the host. XXXTentacion was also about to become a father and purchased homes for his family members before passing.
