Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are still reeling after the snap that was felt around the world in Avengers: Infinity War. CinemaBlend breaks the news after sitting with Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, to discuss the release of Ant-Man and The Wasp on July 7 before letting us know what will be next for Stephen Strange. Fiege detailed the reason that Marvel Studios is releasing three films a year, which continues the stories that fans are invested in and enabling the flexibility to bring heroes across the film.

‘Sometimes it’s where do those characters pop up? [Doctor] Strange, you know, whenever we do another Strange one, which we will do, it will be a number of years from the first Strange, and yet he’s a very big part of [Avengers:] Infinity War,” Feige explained. “So it is just a good problem to have when you have too many beloved characters that people want to see more of, whilst keeping to our core belief that we need to keep exploring nuance and keep doing different types of things.”

The quote provides a confirmation for fans of Stephen Strange but leaves a little haze in the time frame that we will receive the effort. Currently, Phase Four of the MCU has Spider-Man: Far From Home and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, hopefully, Doctor Strange 2 lands a spot in that Phase.

For those who are looking to get an extra fix of Marvel, Ant-Man and the Wasp will arrive in theaters July 7, 2018.
