Much has been made since the beef between Drake and Pusha T, with a little bit of Kanye West, and how it concluded with J. Prince stepping in and calling a truce. Shining light on what the rest of the feud would have been if it continued, prince stated the response would have been detrimental to careers. Many believed the record would have been a career-altering release for Pusha T, but now Prince clarifies stating the record would have been for Kanye West.
While visiting Big Boy to discuss his The Art and Science of Respect book, Prince was questioned about the diss that presumably will never be heard stating it would have affected Ye and that it was a step too far and it would be “affecting one’s livelihood.”
Instead, Prince requested a truce, which Ye also agreed to on Twitter and both sides have seemingly moved on citing his status as a family man to dead the beef.
In recent times, Drake has captured the attention of the industry with his new album Scorpion, which one of many topics rapped about is the first child of the Toronto emcee that Pusha T exposed during their quick dance in the ring. On the other hand, Pusha T is seemingly enjoying the success and rave reviews of his album while championing the efforts of G.O.O.D. Music, which rolled out five albums over the first few months of June with Kanye West at the helm of production. The most recent was Teyana Taylor’s K.T.S.E., which is scheduled for a rerelease soon.
