Not to mention, some of the NBA’s new and former talents would become heavy hitters. The melee began as Austrailia was leading the Phillipeans 79-48 in the third quarter.

Australia’s Daniel Kickert didn’t appreciate the hard foul on his teammate. As a result, he elbowed one of the Philippines players in the back. Subsequently ending the basketball game and starting the fight. Benches cleared and both teams began to brawl.

Thon Maker, a center for the Milwaukee Bucks was playing for Austrailia and he wasted no time letting his hands go, even launching his seven-foot figure at crowds of rival players.  Andray Blatche, who once played for the Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards was also involved in the brawl–on the Philippines side.

ESPN reports Maker, Christopher Goulding, Daniel Kickert, and Nathan Sobey were ejected from Australia. Blatche, Calvin Abueva, Japeth Aguilar, Carl Bryan Cruz, Jayson Castro, Roger Pogoy, Terrence Romeo, Troy Rosario, and Matthew Wright were the nine players ejected from the Philippines team.
