We know streetwear stans have been feigning for the next collection by Heron Preston, especially after that interesting PVC raincoat we peeped last season, and the hype is about to level up now that we know it’s a Carhartt WIP collaboration.

The collection features an earthy-yet-grungy color palette that hones in on heavy-duty workwear, which includes paint-splattered vests, work jackets, jeans, and long-sleeve T-shirts. It looks like employees at your local construction sites will be decked out in swag this season, as the tees feature “Industry Workwear” quotes all over its layout. In addition, Carhartt’s box patch logo is placed on the rear for a nice touch of familiarity.

Hunter forest-infused jeans, short-sleeved T-shirts and fanny pack options are added in as well, but are they really worth dropping $400+ for them? Being a Down South native, I see a lot of people in my hometown sporting hunter-forest gear, and it only ranges from $6 to $20 at Academy Sports. However, they are used more for hunting purposes rather than fashion and everyday wear. Not hating on anyone that wants to burn holes in their pockets to cop these items — get it how you live! — but just be smart about it, guys.

The Heron Preston x Carhartt WIP capsule collection is priced between $290 USD and $950 USD, and can be pre-ordered on Antonioli. Shipments are expected to be delivered by January 31, 2019.
