One day after renewing her decade-long vows with her husband Papoose, Remy Ma announced that she was 16 weeks pregnant with their first child.
On Tuesday (July 3) the “Shether” rap queen shared a post showing the greatest moments of her celebration on Instagram. Upon scrolling along the Black Love couple’s special occasion, the last photo strikes viewers with the most adoration. Papoose is shown receiving a kiss on the cheek from his wife while holding on to her belly with an elated expression. In the caption, she first leaves fans guessing by starting off with “Oh yea…& then this happened ” and then goes on to reveal that she has been eating right and working out for almost a year to prepare for her pregnancy.
“Oh yea…& then this happened ? I’ve been eating right, working out, and preparing for this for almost a year. We are so happy; thank you to everyone that prayed for us and sent blessings our way,” Remy wrote.
According to the hashtags in her post, the Bronx native is four months pregnant, officially confirming the coming of #BabyMackie. This is Remy Ma’s first child with Brooklyn emcee Papoose. The Hip-Hop couple renewed their vows in lieu of reaching a decade of marriage this past weekend, an extravaganza Remy curated in just three days. The raptress had the masses in awe with her newly slim figure in her perfectly layered all white Karen Sabag wedding gown which she rocked Sophia Webster shoes to match. Many have accused the rapper of going under the knife to achieve her profound body. She did clarify that her recent weight loss is due to the pregnancy, which she states to have lost seven pounds.
Last year, after promising her husband a baby after their wedding, Remy suffered an ectopic pregnancy. She shared the heartfelt experience on Love and Hip-Hop, where the couple is stationed star cast members. The later miscarriage was a signal that she could not conceive outside of medical procedures. In December of 2017, she announced that she has started to undergo In Vitro Fertilization which was a signal that she was ready to conceive. In order to undergo IVF, a woman must be at her healthiest point to achieve the best results. This probably explains Remy’s change in diet and new figure.
