Rogen shared with his following that he has DM’d Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and tweets “After all the exchanges, I’ve reached a conclusion: the dude simply does not seem to give a fuck.”

Currently, Twitter verification isn’t a status that is available to all and is described as a bad that “lets people know that an account of public interest is authentic.” In the guidelines for verification, Twitter does state the status can be removed by “promoting hate and/or violence against, or directly attacking or threatening other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or disease. Supporting organizations or individuals that promote the above.”
