Cardi B continues to prove she belongs in Hip Hop. After becoming the first female rapper to have two songs on the Billboard Hot 100, her album is now platinum.
Not many expected her to stay around her break out hit, “Bodak Yellow” but Cardi has always believed in herself. Serving up more hits like “Bartier Cardi,” her album was one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Whether you love her or hate her expect to see more of her. Especially considering her baby could be arriving at any moment now.
With this in mind, her husband Offset might be eager to pop a few bottles of champagne in honor of her accomplishment but Cardi took to Instagram thanking fans for their support. Guess those pregnancy cravings are kicking in as she also informed the world she would be treating herself to “bookies and milk.”
A treat well deserved as she has helped Atlantic Records add yet another platinum plaque to their resume. For now, we believe she is getting comfortable in Atlanta’s Grady Hospital.
We salute Cardi in her latest accomplishment. Although everyone will want to see the baby, we are eager to see how she will follow up with her next project.
