Jada Pinkett Smith has been more open when it comes to her personal life. It all started off with her Facebook series, Red Table Talk. She’s been sharing intimate moments of her and her family to the public, not only on the show but through social media as well. Smith took out the time to post up a few photos from her baby shower where Whitney Houston was in attendance.
While the actress was pregnant with her son, Jaden Smith, Houston showed up to congratulate her on her baby boy. The pair is seen talking and laughing it up. She said the photos happen to be the only ones she has of them together. Smith went on to emphasize how sweet and funny the legendary singer was.
“Whitney was so sweet, so fierce… so real. She was funny and fun and so present. As talented and famous as she was… she didn’t wear it on her sleeve. She was so down to earth. That’s what I admired about her most. If only we could have celebrated her more while she was here. You are missed, Whitney.”
