Former National Football League cornerback Brandon Browner was arrested in La Verne, California after breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s house and threatening to kill her. Browner also was said to have stolen from her before leaving the scene.
Local authorities reported to the scene after receiving a call of a man breaking into a home through a window. According to Deadspin, the corner “physically harmed” her before making off with a watch of hers that valued at $20,000.
Police records indicate Brown had been arrested for domestic violence in the past and the woman he stole from currently had a restraining order in place against him. During his career, Brandon Browner was a member of the New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints and the Seattle Seahawks, which was the last team he was a member of in 2016 where he was released in the preseason.
