If you recall, Drake alluded to the end of his deal Scorpion’s “Is There More” where he rapped “Soon as this album drop I’m out of the deal.” The album may have marked the end of the Young Money/Cash Money tenure but could very well embark on a separate venture under UMG.

Dina LaPolt, music attorney, and owner of LaPolt Law firm, who have represented stars as large as Britney Spears believes that “Drake has the bargaining power to negotiate a net profit split with the best deal terms and a humongous advance up front.”

Variety highlights the possibilities of offers for Drake could be direct to streaming providers, signing to another major label for as much of an advance as $15 to $20 million, or a touring package offer that is reminiscent of the one Jay-Z did in 2008 for 10-years, $150 million.

While we wait to see what the next move is for the 6ix God, he is sitting at Wimbledon watching Serena Williams destroy the competition, much like he did on the Billboard Hot 100 this past week.
