If you were planning on traveling to Northern California to enjoy the XO Music Fest, it’s suggested to see if you can change your flight for a voucher or another date. A statement from the festival creators cite low ticket sales as the reason for canceling the festival:

“Today we are deeply disappointed to have to announce that due to lower than anticipated ticket sales and in part due to the fact that there were some negative media reports targeting us, with which we strongly disagree. XO Music Festival scheduled to occur on July 13 will be postponed to another time to be announced at a future date.”

The scheduled date for the event was July 12-15 and there were reports of the organizers not supplying the money for agreed fees to rent the area. Joe Brengle, Event Park CEO in Antioch, California, spoke out against the festival committee. On the bill for the festival was T.I., Ludacris, Dipset, Fabolous and more One of the organizers from the group has also recently been charged with 40 felonies. Sounds like this event wasn’t going to happen for a while.
