Friday The 13th wasn’t an unlucky day for Tekashi 6ix9ine.

According to a recent Instagram post from Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine’s manager Tr3y Way, Tekashi was just released from Riker’s Island today
(July 13).

The rainbow-haired rapper showed his obvious relief of being released from the belly of the beast after being threatened with extradition for an assault charge in Texas related to an altercation with a 16-year-old on a Houston mall.

It was just reported earlier today that Tekashi was transferred to the Island’s Contagious Disease Unit for his safety.

It’s unclear as to whether or not he was bailed out, but the “Gummo” emcee thanked his lawyers for getting him out of the jam.

It’s also unclear if 6ix9ine has to return to Houston to face the assault charge.

TheSource.com will bring you updates on this case as it develops.
