The summer seems to be all about LeBron James again. The newest Los Angeles Laker was checking out what the Lakers developing talent had to offer at summer league. In preparation for next season, we now know what expect from LBJ for the upcoming release of NBA 2K19.
Not only will he grace the cover of the 20th-anniversary edition but he will be one of the game’s top-rated players. According to a screenshot shared by NBA 2K’s twitter, he will have a 98 overall rating.
Coming off an uphill playoff campaign with the Cleveland Cavaliers, King James still managed to average 27.5 points per game, along with 9.1 assist and 8.6 rebounds.
Developers must’ve been impressed because James’ player rating is up one point from the 97 overall rating which he had in NBA 2K18.
So far, James is the only player who’s rating has been revealed. Considering James Harden took home the league MVP trophy, it will be interesting to see what his rating comes out to be.
We do know Miluakee Bucks Foward, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named the cover athlete of the NBA 2K19 standard edition. However, his rating, as well as the rest of the NBA player ratings, remain unknown.
NBA 2K player ratings are all the more important now following the development of the NBA 2K League. The anniversary edition will be available for purchase on September 7.
