Just a few days ago there was a report that Atlanta’s legendary Pink Trap House birthed by 2 Chainz would be demolished. The Pretty Girls Like Trap Music rapper was caught by TMZ and asked about saving the monument to which he responded he may need to reach out to Atlanta Mayor Keisha Bottoms. He also referred to the building not only as the A’s Statue of Liberty but also their Eiffel Tower.
“I don’t think they would know down the Statue of Liberty we need to keep that up,” 2 Chainz said. “We changed the connotation of trap house from something considered negative to something that was considered positive. We held church services, gave back to the community, we did art activities, we did AIDS tests and all of that.”
2 Chainz stated that he did not know why they wanted to knock it down. Reports from the last few days state the property is facing demolition because the house isn’t worth as much as the land is.
