Chance the Rapper said we wouldn’t get a new album from him this year but that didn’t mean that new music wasn’t being delivered ahead of his Special Olympics performance. The Chicago Hip-Hop heavyweight hit his Twitter late Wednesday evening to release a four pack to his fans.

Chance released “Work Out,” “65th & Ingleside,” “Wala Cam” featuring Supa Bwe and “I Might Need Security,” the latter of which he revealed the purchase of the media outlet: “I bought the Chicagoist/ just to run you racist bitches out of business.”

Chano purchased the Chicagoist from WNYC making it a component of Chace the Rapper’s Social Media LLC.

The Gothamist reported the sale with a statement from Chance:

“I’m extremely excited to be continuing the work of the Chicagoist, an integral local platform for Chicago news, events and entertainment. WNYC’s commitment to finding homes for the -ist brands, including Chicagoist, was an essential part of continuing the legacy and integrity of the site. I look forward to re-launching it and bringing the people of Chicago an independent media outlet focused on amplifying diverse voices and content.”
