Kevin Durant is no stranger to making huge decisions in NBA Free Agency. He probably has one of the most shocking team switches of all-time when he left the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors. With his off-court friend LeBron James heading west, there isn’t a surprise that he supports the decision.
Speaking with Variety, KD shared that he was supportive of the move that was made by King James. Durant was the keynote at the Sports and Entertainment breakfast for Variety and stated King James picked his new team due to both basketball and entertainment industry endeavors.
“I think really great ones like LeBron have the opportunity to pick both,” Durant said. “Have a great basketball environment, but also live in a place to help his business advance. He’s earned that right to make those decisions.
“I’m excited he took advantage of this opportunity to be in L.A. and play for the Lakers. It’s great that he decided to take his career to the next step,” Durant added.
Lately, the two has been seen together, along with Warrior Draymond Green, out in Los Angeles enjoying a night out at a bar. Check out the video from the video from the breakfast here.
