A$ap Rocky and Tyler The Creator are two Hip Hop’s most independent minds. Always willing to forge their own paths, now the two rappers are coming together to deliver WANG$AP. The name honors Tyler’s Golf Wang brand and Rocky’s name as well.
With two cult-like followings, fans have been eager to see the pair come together and now it seems they will get that wish.
Serving up a healthy helping of “Potato Salad,” this could be the first single to come from the highly anticipated project. Officially released on Tyler’s YouTube, the creative pair has found a way to revitalize Monica’s 2003 hit “Knock Knock.”
Originally produced by Kanye West, they channel their inner Ye’ and Jay-Z as they seem to be enjoying their time in Paris, France. Still, they remained focused on the task at hand in giving what they’ve been craving.
Following the end of the visual, a WANG$AP graphic is displayed before being accompanied by a “coming soon” label. With this in mind, it looks like this will be a joint project release.
