Chance the Rapper recently returned with new music for his fans but he also will be returning to the Wild N’ Out stage for another duel with host and comedian Nick Cannon. Billboard reports the Chicago rapper will return to the improv show in efforts to raise the show’s coveted comedy championship belt.
Chance appeared on the show once before, back in season nine, when his team defeated Cannon’s squad and now is aiming for his second victory. The latest battle between the two stars is being billed as Cannon vs Chance II and will open the 12th season of the show.
Aside from new music and getting back in the comedy ring, Chance also has been nominated for two Emmy awards for his performance on Saturday Night Live last season.
The episode will be a one-hour special that premieres on Friday, August 17 on MTV. View the premiere below.
