The mega producer’s new set of kicks brings to mind a wave of moving textures, made possible by the vortex-style structure that brings your eye all across the shoe’s abstract design. The neoprene upper is molded into a wraparound lacing system, which stays in place with help from eyelets and tabs on the heel and tongue. A metallic midfoot panel is the most gaudy feature, but it’s balanced out perfectly with the translucent sole. Good job on this one, Swizz — we’ll tell you when we see you.

The Swizz Beatz x Reebok DMX Series 2000 is available right now for $140 in the multicolored colorway over on Reebok.com, and expect the “Mars Dust” (seen above) to drop on August 3.
