From YouTube star to super stardom, Queen Naija has been having a record-breaking rookie year in the music industry. Always known to be a very talented singer, even on her YouTube channel, Queen finally decided to pursue it wholeheartedly in 2018.

Hours before midnight this past New Year’s Eve, Queen released her song “Medicine” as an explanation to her fans as to why her and her ex-husband, popular YouTuber Chris Sails, had broken up.

Queen has since released an official music video to “Medicine,” which has garnered over 52 million views in less than four months and has also earned her the No.1 spot on Billboard’s Emerging Artist Chart.

Moreover, “Medicine” debuted at No. 45 on Billboard’s Hot 100 charts, and peaked at No. 8 on the Hot R&B Songs Chart. Labels became interested, and Queen decided to make Capitol Records her home.

After such a powerful introduction to the mainstream music world, Queen is finally giving us a full length project. Today, Queen released her five song self-titled EP, Queen Naija. The project touches on the topics of heartbreak and betrayal, motherhood, and finding new love all over again —  production nods go tot the super talented No I.D.
