UPDATE Repost @africanunification Update: A black woman and her two granddaughters went to New Red Apple Nail Inc. (1426 Nostrand Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11226), where they got their nails and feet done, and eyebrow waxing. All of the services were paid for but the grandmother was unsatisfied with her granddaughter’s eyebrows, so she refused to pay the $5. After refusing to pay for just the eyebrows, the grandmother and her granddaughters were beaten with metal rods by the employees of the salon and Acetone thrown into their eyes. The employees called the police on the women and they were arrested.
According to the Maduka, the women paid for everything other than the eyebrows. Ultimately, the three customers were treated like animals. Police later arrived on the scene to arrest two of the salon’s employees. According to the New York Post, Huiyue Zheng was charged with assault and weapon possession. Cops say she was released following a hearing in Brooklyn Criminal Court. Christina Thomas was charged with misdemeanor assault along with other charges. She was released as well. The video has now gone viral, since Friday evening.
New Apple Nail Salon treated paying customers with inhumane disorderly conduct. There will be no surprise if there is a lawsuit to in order against this establishment. We’ll continue to follow this matter as more information is released.
