One of the hottest topics surrounding LeBron James arrival in Los Angeles was if the new look Lakers could make the NBA Playoffs. According to Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, the LakeShow returning to the postseason is a lock.
The Las Vegas wager hub has the Lakers winning 48.5 games this upcoming season, placing them in fourth place for the western conference and bringing them to second place in the Pacific Division behind the reigning world champion Golden State Warriors. The Steph Curry led team is predicted to win 62.5 games.
Other notable predictions include the Houston Rockets at 54.5 wins, the Spurs just missing the postseason at 43.5 wins and a 50 win season for the Oklahoma City Thunder after dropping Carmelo Anthony from the payroll.
Over on the east side, the Atlantic division will be a slugfest as the Boston Celtics who are suggested at 57.5, Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers are believed to be separated by no more than 3 wins.
