As Spike Lee preps for the release of his latest theatrical “Spike Lee Joint”, the crime-thriller biopic BLACKkKLANSMAN, our favorite director links up with Levi’s for a capsule of sho’ nuff fly trucker jackets.
Lee actually co-designed these denim offerings, so his input is etched all throughout in the form of 40 Acres and a Mule patches, BK-themed motifs with nods to fashion label Defend Brooklyn and a few other pro-Black embroidery additions. The two options available are washed black and indigo, with both featuring a built-in hoodie that has its own pro-Africa patch on the hood.
The Spike Lee x Levi’s Trucker Jackets will drop for $190 USD on August 9 — one day before BLACKkKLANSMAN hits theaters — through Lee’s 40 Acres production website and the Levi’s SoHo store in New York, who will also host an in-store event. More pics below:
