Cardi B has proven her haters wrong thus far. Invasion of Privacy marks her first platinum plaque, She has also left her mark on the Billboard charts. Now she can celebrate her latest lone accomplishment.
Aside from becoming a wife and a new mother, the Bronx native has accomplished something Drake and Nicki Minaj has done this year.
In addition to joining the history books with Beyoncè the, “I Like It” rapper has become the first and only artist to have three records sell over 500,000 units in pure sales. Drake may have methodically chosen to dominate streaming charts But Bardi’s success has been lead by “Finesse” & “Girls Like You” with Maroon 5
Together all three of these songs prove that she does have staying power. All she needs to do now is remain consistent and either replicate her success or take it to the next level completely.
Unable to contain her excitement, she took to her Instagram Monday night(August 6) to inform the world of her latest accomplishment. “For the record, I set records record sales, I like nikkas that be in and out of jail! THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING !!!” she wrote.
One thing is clear, Bardi doesn’t care to compete with others. She is more focused on life as a new mom, her own achievements and her upcoming return to the stage.
