The ’90s was the pinnacle for many things currently influencing today’s culture, one of those being the hyper-stylish ‘Lo Head movement that has people scouring vintage shops for throwback Polo gear. Although Ralph Lauren released it’s own tribute to the Lo Life not too long ago, Nike decided to come through with a less-than-official nod in the form of a colorful new Air Force II Low colorway.

The color-blocking is what you notice off the rip on this silhouette, which makes for an easy task to accomplish given the many panels to play with on this particular model. The “Blue Void” and “Midnight Green” hues balance each other out perfectly here, with the former color in place on the tongue, laces, toe box and heel, while the latter settles into the suede paneling that wraps around the shoe from heel to toe. “Habanero Red” pops up on the Swoosh and Nike branding, while a simple yellow is incorporated into the inner lining to compliment the gum sole. If the classic Polo Snow Beach jacket was ever a shoe, this would definitely be the sneaker equivalent — well, save for this actual “Snow Beach” tribute by Packer Shoes & Saucony.
