LaVar Ball is never one to not speak his mind. When it comes to President Donald Trump, Ball isn’t a fan. Asked by TMZ Sports if he thinks Trump is racist, Ball’s matter-of-fact reply was “yes…everybody knows that.”

President Trump has been a topic of discussion in NBA circles over the past couple of weeks as Lonzo’s new Lakers teammate – LeBron James – was recently the subject of an inflammatory Tweet from the president.

During a recent sit-down interview with CNN’s Don Lemon, James said that he would “never sit across” from the current president of the United States. James also went on to say that he thinks President Trump is using sports – and athletes – to try to divide people.

Lavar, though, doesn’t care about politics. What he wants is for LeBron to “come here and win for LA.” He also believes that “nobody’s worried about his political stance right now.”

Ball and Trump previously exchanged words last year when the president took credit for getting LiAngelo Ball out of China after LiAngelo and two UCLA basketball players admitted to shoplifting merchandise from a Louis Vuitton store in Hangzhou.
