Bay Area native Gonzo The Great dropped the first half of his debut project titled, 9 Lives. The 9 track album features B-Legit, Spice 1 and $tupid Young to name a few.
He kicks off the project rapping about the hurdles that were thrown at him and he overcame, like a cat with 9 lives. “Everywhere I Go,” “Penitentiary Chances,” and “Cali Love” definitely have that traditional West Coast feel to it. Songs like “Gotta Roll” will appeal to the ladies, and there’s definitely street anthems peppered in there. This project has something for everyone.
