As his recent feature on GQ makes perfectly clear, Jalen Ramsey doesn’t have a ton of good things to say about most NFL quarterbacks. The Jaguars’ star corner has an especially strong disdain for Buffalo Bills rookie Josh Allen.
Ramsey went ham on Allen on Twitter back in May. He’s now taken even more shots at the young QB, but this time he got to expound more on exactly what he finds so objectionable about Allen’s game.

The funny thing is Ramsey’s general feelings about Allen aren’t all that different than what the television talking heads were saying in the days and weeks leading up to the 2018 NFL Draft. Allen struggled with consistency and he wasn’t very good against better competition. Meanwhile, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen and Lamar Jackson — the other quarterbacks taken in the first round — had much better pedigree.
Allen took the high road and didn’t offer much of a response.
Bills QB Josh Allen‘s response to the comments by Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey (he had not seen or heard them until asked): “He’s not on my team, he’s not my teammate. It doesn’t bother me.”

Allen will have to earn Ramsey’s respect before the corner gives it up. The young QB will have the opportunity to do so in Week 12 when the Jaguars visit Buffalo.
