On the first track, “The Ringer,” the Detroit rapper revealed that Donald Trump actually did respond to his diss on the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards cypher: “sent the Secret Service to meet in person / To see if I really think of hurtin’ him / Or ask if I’m linked to terrorists.” He also says of Trump: “I empathize with the people this evil serpent sold the dream to that he’s deserted.”

In that very same track, Slim Shady took the time out to call out some new-school rappers, for example, Lil Pump, Lil Xan and Lil Yachty, due to their negative reviews of Revival, and makes reference to VP Mike Pence’s scrotum. Tyler The Creator, Machine Gun Kelly, and Joe Budden caught some smoke on that first record too.

Kamikaze marks a very active music period for Eminem. Before the release of Revival in December 2017, Slim didn’t release an album since 2013. Receiving mixed reviews, Revival went to No 1 in the US and UK, while Em performed at a UK stadium.

He also dropped a couple high-profile guest verses on Nicki Minaj’s “Majesty” on her Queen album, and Royce Da 5’9’s latest. The collection was executive produced by longtime collaborator Dr. Dre. The last track, Venom, is taken from the soundtrack of the upcoming Marvel film of a similar name.
