Late last this year, Drake wore a “Free Meek Mill” t-shirt to support the Philly rapper and his unfair sentencing. The initiative was the first step to salvage the two’s relationship. When Meek was released from prison, the “Dangerous” rapper announced that he and Drizzy had a conversation in order to mediate their differences.

Back in 2015, Meek Mill accused Drake of plagiarizing his raps and flow. Meek and Drake were frequent collaborators before the accusations. Tracks like “Amen” and “Rico” was certified Gold and Platinum respectively. The 6 God responded with two diss tracks, “Charged Up” and “Back to Back.” The Grammy-nominated “Back to Back” was certified double platinum.

Three years later the beef is squash. The “Dream and Nightmares” star performed his anthem.

“Meek Mill, that’s my brother,” said the “God’s Plan” superstar.

Philadelphia 76er’s owner, Michael Grubin, posted a picture of Meek’s arm with credentials prior to his appearance. The post received much attraction and led many to speculate Meek’s cameo. It is amazing to see the growth of a relationship. Both artists have suffered their sets of wins and losses in the past three years. Their new relationship shows their growth as men and as role models.

“We need more peace in the world. We need more love in the world,” says the OVO head honcho. The two rap superstars even played a friendly game of ping pong after the show.

Fans should look forward to a future collab once Drake wraps up his tour.
