Back in June we got a look at the full Jordan Brand Fall 2018 collection, with one of the standout releases being the Air Jordan 12 “International Flight.” Now, the colorway is finally available to cop in celebration of MJ’s worldwide appeal throughout his decorated career on and off the court.

There’s no argument that Michael Jordan helped orchestrate the widespread appeal of basketball, mainly by traveling throughout the world for games and even charity. A good example for the latter would be his 1996 trip to Tokyo for a basketball clinic, which is the primary influence of the iteration seen here. The red and white hues are used to symbolize Japan’s well-known Rising Sun flag, meanwhile the upper is adorned in patterns synonymous with traditional kimonos. The silhouette is finished off with the words “Jordan” stylized into kanji characters spelled down the heel tab. Our opinion? Very ‘kuuru’ (クール)!
