It seems that everyone in the world is talking about the almost fight between rap queens Cardi B and Nicki Minaj at the Harper Bazaar party at New York Fashion Week. Include Kelly Rowland in the conversation who witnessed the almost brawl and states that “There’s no time for us as women to fight.” Kelly Rowland spoke with E! News and believes that there are bigger issues at hand than whatever differences the two are currently experiencing.
“I think in a time where Serena Williams is fighting for equality—I love both Nicki Minaj and Cardi B and I think that they are extremely talented—and in a time when she is fighting for women’s equality, we just can’t be fighting,” Kelly shared.
“They are just so talented and I just genuinely love them both so much, but it’s just not the time. We have way bigger issues as women, you know what I mean? So I don’t know. I’m Switzerland, I don’t f**king know.”
The dust-up between the two only became more of a headline once Nicki Minaj hit her Queen Radio and throw the blame for the incident on Cardi, while also stating that she doesn’t receive real love from radio or fans beyond what she pays for from out of the pocket of herself or the label.
