Ever since Y-3 debuted the new Kaiwa silhouette last month, Three Stripes aficionados have been anticipating the many iterations that are possible for the eclectic model. However, Yohji Yamamoto decided to keep things cool and simple for the latest release with a vibrant red colorway.

Aside from the eye-grabbing hue of the shoe, the silhouette also stands out for its leather and suede construction on the upper. Other specs include neoprene detailing on the tongue and heel, making for a bootie-style sockliner fit. The chunky, crisp white sole adds a contrasting element in terms of color, giving those that like to ride the wave between gaudy and chill a viable option for the impending autumn season.
