On Saturday, Sept. 9, 2018, The Source and NorthStar Charities presented its Annual SOURCE360 Block Party in downtown Brooklyn.

Kids, families, emerging artists and the general public were treated to a wonderful a day of outdoor activities and live performances at the Annual SOURCE360 Block Party. Starting off the medley of exciting activations was champion boxer, Zab Judah and his team of boxing champions who taught over 20 inner-city youth basic boxing tips that can be used for self-defense—incorporating messages of fitness and self-motivation. A SOURCE360 Health and Fitness Pavilion included the American Heart Association, Bridging Access to Care, The Noble Touch and Double Dutch Aerobics. The popular Brittne Babe also led the crowd with a 30 minutes fitness and exercise session to Hip-Hop music. The Brooklyn United Marching Band, sent their mini drum line and dancers to wow the audience with an energy packed set. The block party also featured visual artists, musical performances from Young Devyn, Young Profit, Kyla Imani, LOW Fi, Niko Brim, Bakeman Global, Kimeechi, Black Papi, Iman Nunez, J. Diamondz, Yvng Swag, Taylor Girlz, Arnstar, Mekka Don, Mariah Lynn and Jaquae, dance performances from Brickhouse NYC’s X Factory (GenNex, GenX and GenXS), Live dj performances from DJ Self and DJ Spadez, a fashion show, and more. Our KIDS360 activation (powered by Say Cheeeze Entertainment) included a bouncy house, clown and face painting and free cotton candy. Lastly, The Ubersoca Cruise team brought the Caribbean carnival flavor to the day with their DJ Kevin Crown and by raffling off a free cruise to their November excursion to a lucky attendee.

As always, The SOURCE360 Block Party was a Hip-Hop carnival of fun.
