It’s been a little over four years since we’ve received a full-length project from Hip-Hop’s princess, Ashanti. Nonetheless, she says that will change before the end of 2018.
In an interview with ABC Radio, Ashanti gave us the inside scoop on all that she has in the works for the latter part of the year. She stated:
“I executive-produced a film called Stuck that’ll be coming out later this year. Very, very excited about that. I have a project coming out. I’m teaming up with Metro Boomin. We’re putting out an EP later this year. Just a lot of really cool stuff, so very excited.”
In addition to Ashanti’s executive producer role, she will also play as Giancarlo Esposito’s co-star in Stuck, in which is a musical about six strangers who get stuck on a New York City subway. Stay tuned for more details on official release dates.
