Adding to what is becoming a monumental year, the Young Money head honcho will receive the “I Am Hip Hop” Award at the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards show.
The 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards will go down in Lil Wayne’s adopted home of Miami and will have DeRay Davis stepping in as host. Aside from the top prize of the evening, Drake is holding on to 11 nominations. Cardi B is not too far behind the 6ix God bringing in 10 nominations herself.
The 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards will be at The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater on October 6 with them being available for your viewing pleasure on October 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. In the meantime, get ready for Tha Carter V!
